Ophthalmologist & Founder, Vinayaka Nethralaya
Dr. V. Krishna Kumar brings over four decades of hands-on surgical and clinical experience in ophthalmology. He completed his eye surgery training at Minto Regional Institute of Ophthalmology under Bangalore Medical College, earning his Master's degree in Ophthalmology in 1986. Following several years of practice abroad, he returned to Bengaluru with a clear purpose — to establish a centre where patients could access skilled eye care without financial or logistical barriers. That vision gave birth to Vinayaka Nethralaya in 1994. Dr. Krishna Kumar holds particular expertise in advanced cataract surgery and laser refractive procedures for spectacle removal. His approach is defined by precision, unhurried consultations, and a genuine commitment to each patient's long-term visual health.
